Retina Service

Dr de Wit has expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions affecting the retina and the vitreous gel in the back of the eye.

To have optimal vision, you need a healthy retina. This thin, membranous lining is located at the back of the eye and comprised of cells connected to nerve fibres. These cells allow the light that enters the eye to convert to nerve impulses that eventually reach the brain. At the Barossa Eye Clinic, we specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of complex conditions that affect this critical structure an have invested in the very best diagnostic equipment to assist us in helping you.
